Nice looking bug, but I understand about what may lurk underneath. :-)
I noticed you were towing it with a Ridgeline. How does that work for you? Is the loaded tongue weight of the trailer under 500 lbs, or are you using a WD hitch?
I tow a camper with my Ridgeline, but I have to keep the tongue weight under 500 lbs dead weight or 600 lbs with WD, so I didn't think I'd be able to tow a car trailer. Nice to see I might be wrong!

Ed, I just did the 100k service and the truck with 18' aluminum car trailer got 16.7 - 19.4mpg unloaded. With the VW on board; it got 13.2 - 15.4mpg. I normally don't keep vehicles this long. The Ridgeline will probably be in the family for a while. -Ray
