My wife is leaving town for a weekend October 24-26. So this means that I can do what ever I want!!! I really have no ideas yet because I have never been granted this much freedom before. All that I know is that I want to have fun.
Any ideas? AJ

You could come install the stereo in my car. That sounds like fun doesn't it?

What do you know about generators? The one in my car isn't working may be we can replace it with an alternator? or another generator?

Steven, is your car still 6 volt or was it converted to 12 volt? I have a generator in the shed. Not sure if it works. It is yours if you want it.
AJ: How about we add in one of those fancy new fangled 12 volt accessory outlets too?

Well I need to rebuild a generator from my stack for my car. If you want we can dig through my stack of generators to rebuild one or just rebuild your old one. I have no problem with going an alternator conversion but it takes some special parts like fuel pump, push rod, and stand.

The 12 volt accessory outlet is easy the hardest part is drilling the hole to make it look factory.
Check my list above for extra parts also see if the alternator has a inturnal regulator not by checking the electrical connections if it has 3 wires I believe its a external regulator type for that one you will need the regulator.
But let me check on the details ok

Ok here is the plan I am going to plant my self at my Garage this weekend and just tinker with stuff. If anyone wants needs anything let me know. If Bren is ready for me I can swing up to his place to install his radio. My specialty is electrical work and mechanical work just look at my car for am example.
Steven I will be rebuilding my generator this week before the Color Tour. If you want I can also rebuild yours too. Just rip it off the car and I will see what I can do.
