Did you cut your own beam or buy one? How about the tie rods? I am going to do the same thing this weekend with Happy Camper. No I had one already done I just have to clean it and paint it. If you look at my pics you can see where the adjusters are their is a weld on each side this is done when you chop and shorten a stock beam and add adjusters. The tie rods have to be custom for the shorten beam. And if you want to run shocks I would run shorten shocks. Mine are Empi shorten shocks made for a lowered beam. Beam before I started cleaning it up. Beam after wire wheel.

Now that the 63 is up on jacks I got to spend allot of time looking in at the entire bottom and wheel wells. Right rear wheel well Underneath pan shot Package tray shot Trans shot More to follow.... Micro

Looks nice and solid underneath. I cant be sure form the pics, but by looking at the position of the steering arm stop bracket, I would guess that beam has been shortened by about 4". Are those lowered spindles as well? Camper

Well glad you finished painting your beam!!!!! Tonight we install and and this coming saturday we lower the rear!!!!!
