Well, 81PumaGTC (aka Dave R) forced ;D me to take this spoiler home from the GTG over the weekend, after I had a vision... After mocking it up, I'm not sure that it looks as I first imagined, but, I don't hate it. What do you think?

Tilt it a little and you have a snow plow?? Just need rubber wings, lights and a hydro. cylinder and you could make some cash??? LOL! ;D Due to the size of my garage, I can't get a good shot of the front, straight on. That's why I can't decide if I like it or not. I don't think it's quite wide enough, but, if it were much wider it wouldn't flow with the front end. It's not currently mounted, just sitting on two 2X4's. If I were to mount it, I would hinge it at the back, and make adjustable struts for the front. I think this one makes it look like a happy buffalo...

I like the look of it in the pic thats more to the front of the car. I would keep it on there. Mount it up, you can always take it off down the road.

I think it looks good Patrick. How far off of the ground would it sit? Paint it Blue or keep it Black?

Mount it up, you can always take it off down the road. Or just go down the road here in W. MI and it will dismount itself It looks real good and is unique! I like it a lot!

I think it would look awsome on Ally. It would match the rear wing! Where did Dave get it from? I want one

Well that drive for me is not at all "free" but I do what I can. Where did Dave get it from anyway? Dave? I would love to hear the story as i've never seen one before. Dan

Dan:
The previous owner had someone custom fabricate the wing for him out of sheet aluminum.
I did not like it on the Puma, so I took it off several years ago...and I have lots less space in Perry than I did in East Lansing so...
I took it to the GTG, and Patrick ended up with it.
It really is a work of art...hollow and fabricated, with a wing cross-section. I always though it was too small for the Pig of Plastic.
Looks nice on Blu however.

Thanks! Keep it coming! I think it looks good Patrick. How far off of the ground would it sit? Paint it Blue or keep it Black? Currently, it is sitting on 2 2X4's. I have about 2 to 2 1/2" clearence, which is about what I have at the sway bar and deep sump. If it stays, I'll leave it black. Just watch for "Road Kill" ;D ;D ;D wonder how fast u got to go to make it effective ;D ;D It looks alright in a 'Ricer' sort of way ;D It's effective when standing still, depending on the effect you are going for. RICER!?!?! ...and YOU look alright in an up north, backwoods sort of way ;D ;D Dan: The previous owner had someone custom fabricate the wing for him out of sheet aluminum. I did not like it on the Puma, so I took it off several years ago...and I have lots less space in Perry than I did in East Lansing so... I took it to the GTG, and Patrick ended up with it. Dave It IS a nice piece, I'm glad Dave kept it around. If I don't mount it to Blu, I will be sure to pass it on to the next in line, which looks to be Dan. Thanks again!
