Had a great time. Lot's of fun to run around on the dunes with other cars; especially goodvolks cars!
My car had issues. Near the end of the day it would not run. Started, idled, bogged bad in 2nd and died. Dave and Paul helped me figure out the fuel pump was not running. Checked fuses, all good. Paul mentioned my brake lights were intermittent and recently my turn signals had quit. So, obviously, I have some electrical issues somewhere. Dave at B and L mentioned the key ignition switches often go bad and cause these type issues. So, things to work on.... yea.
Fortunately the day ended well. Dave had a tow strap (Thanks Dave!) and towed me part way in. A very nice Jeep guy pulled me up exit hill. I got it started and drove down into the lot. Then Dave had to pull me back to the trailer when it died again. Fortunately I was able to drive it onto the trailer.
Great time; weather was beautiful! Nice dinner in town afterwards. Definitely need to do this again next year!

this was a great day!We ran 2 hours non-stop in the morning, and had a blast. We had our own drag race, loaned tools and gave advise, and we were a well behaved bunch. I found a camera in the dunes,and turned it into lost and found. the owner of the camera called me Sunday to thank me. I do hereby resign my position as "designated adult " at the kids' table for dinner! I plan on being there for this event next year, maybe even with my own tires!
