Seems I recall someone posting a link to a place selling tool boxes fairly cheap. Can't seem to find it again. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Bren

I am looking for more of a tool cart. Cart to move around the garage that has some drawers and maybe a bottom shelf. I recall someone posting info about a place that sold roll around tool carts/boxes for $75 and had many used items to choose from.

This is the base that I'm missing for my set . I have 2 large tops & risers made out of Walnut that I've have had for 30 years plus now , just couldn't come up with the cash to get a roller base . Like I have posted before I been machining for some time now . www.gerstnerusa.com/DETAILrb90.html

Wow, the wood ones are beautiful! Looked at HF.com but not at the store yet. Thought used would be better and cheaper.

That is the right idea. I would like to find one where the top is just a shelf and not a shelf with a lid. Not sure if they make them like that or not. Thanks for the offer Bill. If I find one your way I will check in with you.

Check Harbor Freight. I just bought an 11 drawer tool chest and it is great. Got it for $129.00. They have a pretty decent variety of tool boxes and carts.

Seems I recall someone posting a link to a place selling tool boxes fairly cheap. Can't seem to find it again. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Bren I just acquired a shipment of Napa, Kennedy, Snap-On,and other US brand chests and roll-arounds. About 2100 pounds worth, which I'll be picking up soon. I don't intend to screw anyone on them, but also don't plan to give them away, I bought them to get some other items, so just want to break even. More info if there is interest. The DeSoto Club of USA has asked me to sell at their National Meet parts exchange which is held in Michigan, you can always go to that. I'll also be selling all the extra Snap On, Heyco, Hazet and other metric tools, except I am keeping the 36mm slugging wrenches and selected special bigger sizes (the metrics go up to 100mm). More details later if anyone is interested. I am also soon getting some other special tools for non-VWs, specifically MB diesels and Citroens, but that would not interest you folks. Have three more shipments to pick up and store+sort before Feb 15. details to follow if you are interested.
