Matt( VWbugg2275) should be over this weekend to get the lift complete. Then off to his shop for the cage. Most of my fiberglass is white, I am about ready to trying to stripe it. Anybody know where I can get some thin masking tape?

How thin?
In Kalamazoo we have a place that sells automotive paint and supplies. That is where I purchased all of the stuff needed to paint my Ghia. When I did model cars back in the day we used automotive pin stripping stickers as masking tape for a nice clean crisp paint line.

Matt came over today and we thrashed on the Baja. The rear bar for the lift is about done. I want to paint it some before we continue. Here are a couple of pics. Matt welding away. the finished product. Making that thing is more tricky than you would think.

Steering is bolted up, ALthough I noticed that I need a bushing at the end of the column now. Odd I dont remember reading about that before.

well, the car is back as you can see from the pictures it turned out nice. I do have to move the kicker bar, on account it wont clear the seats. No biggie, Matt had only tacked that in
