I pasted on all of your wishes . Now I was unable to talk to Santa last night but I did talk to Al his son , He wanted to say THANK YOU to one and all . This has put a spark back in the old mans hart , After retiring a few years back Al said he could the unhappiness in his old man . I was able to also get him to this past spring Bug Run , That and this Wish list has brought back and old DUB LOVER . So from Al and myself THANK YOU ALL . Now we need to see how many wishes can be filled .

My Ghia is a 70 but I'm told by the online house of ghia that the door triggers were single up until 71 when they switched to a 2 trigger system. So my doors must be from a 71 or later model. At least thats my theory. I haven't tried to verify this yet.
The single trigger doors have a lock peg up by the window. The double trigger use the 2nd trigger to eliminate the window lock.
No online stores have the latch I need so I have to keep looking. Been a bugger to find.

Update........ Santa's Work Shop is falling down !!!!!! I talked to Al ( Santa's son ) and asked about the list , He said that one of the building that is full of parts a wall is or has given way due to a ground hog digging under the foundation and one of the brick walls is starting to tip and pull away from the roof , So the past week and a half or so the old man has been trying to do so repairs by his self . I told Al I would stop by after work to see if I could lend a hand and get the wall repaired and we could get back to the list ,. MikeH , The last time I did talk to Santa he did say that YES he does have a 1971 Ghia out back , I will try to find out more .

GOOD!!!!!!!!!! Fill the hole to see if it gets dug back out I had trouble with a "chuck" at the farm and ended up killing 5 of the rodents before the problem was solved. fill it with rocks followed by gravel and then dirt. Later Kenn

I made it to Santa's work shop for the first time , The wall that is bad has the gas meter right next to it . But for now he is running cables and turnbuckles , and then he said he will have to get the gas man out to move the meter before dig out & repair the slab . I did take a drive out back and saw the "71" Ghia (mikeh ) The doors are there all but drivers out side handle , it has high back seats that can be recovered , front & rear glass , Rear has defrost . The rear of body is F*cked up bad . There also was a (type 3-4 ) not sure wagon with motor and auto trans but no front end . As far as Santa's shop it was PACKED top to bottom , I can see why it may tack a while. I asked about the 1964 Ghia and he said that it was out North of town and has not had time to pull it home yet .
