Well I want to spend some money and I thought check here first. I have a pole barn with a steel roof and want my stove pipe installed. Anyone with the skills, no how, and are doing it for a living?? Thanks Dave ( cold no heat) T

Careful around your insurance person. State Farm will not insure a pole barn with a wood stove in it.

We have Auto Owners for our house and have wood burners in our house and pole barn,We do pay $65 extra a year for them though.

I've installed alot of stoves over the yrs,State code sez it must be 3 feet from a combustable wall, But if u space a piece of tin out one inch your fine be sure it's off the floor the same so cool air can flow behind it,that way the stove not sticking out in the way,I only use Metlbestos or Hart&coolie double wall pipe and chimmie support kit,just waay better then the triple wall crap Tractor Supply sells,Madmike
