AJ, for the most part I drive my dream VW, Ruffuss is alot of history for me. I have owned a Heb., many bugs and bajas with verts in both, buggys both rails and tubs, a square, a fasty, own a notch(that may be going bye-bye), own a 54 3 fold baby window, own a 62 vert x 2. I think if I were to dream a new VW it would be a full out race Thing in the rat rod/ custom style, lowered maybe on bags, wild as_ paint with flames, intertor on the wild side, monster VW engine with a supercharger maybe on alcohol and lotsa chrome and wild wheels and tires. Detailed to the max. If I were a rich man that is, but for now I have all a man could want, need or desire. My health, a good wife, great family and friends a many. Top That!!!!!!!!! Later Kenn

'77 Standard sunroof, 2054cc, suspension mods, body mods, no interior, no music, etc. (my current project, exactly as it appeared in my dreams)
'65 Notch with big, 3.0+ Pauter or Autocraft based turbo mill, drinking the E85, 5 speed, stock appearing body, on full coilover setup and huge brakes to bring it back down. Kenn, I want dibs on your Notch!!!
Any year Ghia, chopped, running similar go box, extensive suspension mods, haul it to Utah and play in the salt. Triple digits in a VW is fun, but what if the first digit was a 2?!?!
Any year Squareback, prefer a '69 though, paneled, clam shell hatch, Porsche red, 2.0 liter wheels, mild mill maybe a 1776, or a 1914, dropped a notch front and rear, killer sound system. A wicked long travel Baja, maybe chaindrive, with a torque monster out back.
Let's see, a MK1 GTi, high strung 1.8 all motor, track car (road course). MK2 Golf, G60 swap converted to turbo, mated to a Syncro drivetrain, lifted, cut out wheel wells, full cage, etc. Basically an AWD Baja Golf!
A Formula Vee
Does a 914 count as a VW?
How 'bout a 550?
I've owned a couple of Baja's, a Square, a 412 Variant ( I want it back!), an '83 GTi (once again, I want it back), a sandrail (another in the works), 4 standard Bugs (including my current '77), 3 super beetles, and a 944 (ewww!) The GTi was the most fun to drive as far as excitement goes, but the 412 had style!

Two cars I always wanted were a hard top beetle and one of these: www.intermeccanica.com/roadster.htmlI am very happy with my beige '67. Definately looking forward to having a daily driver too. I always thought these were cool too: Used to see these advertised in the magazines in high school.

Patrick, Sorry man it's gone, a guy called looking for an IRS trans axle, come down to the farm to pick one up and did. I was selling hay to a customer and opened up the other barn door, he saw the notch and wanted to know what was under the cover when I showed he want to know if was for sale, I told him not really. He called back a couple of days later and made an offer of which I turned down. Later in the week he called again and made a real offer, I told him I'd think it over and talk to my wife. He called the next night and added some to his offer. And I sold it I got nearly 25 times what I paid for it. He is happy, my wife is very happy and I'm OK with it. It was solid and ran, no accidents, stock with documentenation, but I wouldn't have paid $7500. for it. Later Kenn
