If I could find an auto-stick Thing I'd snatch it up.Thats my 2 cents worth Later Kenn If you're going to go through the trouble to convert, get a type 3 fully automatic transmission.

I don't believe they can be 4-wheel towed so I probably wouldn't want one. I may want to tow my Ghia to long distance events - or at least, want that option.

I had a 1973 Ghia that was an auto stick and I had no problems with it at all. My dad now owns it and he enjoys it as well. I wouldn't mess with a conversion. That's just my opinion. Benj

Hey I helped with that tune-up! ;D
From what I remember all we did is adjust the valves (they needed it) and adjusted the carburetor. We also adjusted the timing.
Just the standard tune-up stuff.
