John, Aki do you want to meet for breakfast before the show? Where? When? Steve is to be here at 7am takes about an hour and a half(or so) to get to Hastings(driving the PT.). Maybe the Big Boys in Hastings?? Or Redneck fries at the show? PM me if your interested as well as anyone else. Or have an another idea. Kenn

We can't commit time, so we'll meet you there. Michele will drive Ghia and I'll take my bus. I guess we'll be there at around 10:00. Michele has to leave about 2:00 or so.

:)It was a fun time but of course since the national hotrod assoc. were the judges the top 25 were all pro mods and street rods. But I saw great VW's as you see by the pictures below. Michele and Aki and Steven and Kenn stopped by and saw George. Everyone one I came in contact with today and wanted to talk vw's knew about this website. As soon as they said I have one to sell or needing parts I got my cards out and they said oh ya..I have been on that site already. One person have 3 vw's to sell but needed a card for the website address. Here are some of my pics. The blue car is not mine....It was another one that showed up. On the way out of the park the street was lined with hundreds of people wanting the cars to "Light them up" in front of the police. Of course they wanted the bug to do the same.

Clinton, this is a different show, you are thinking about Jim's show. He isn't having his this year.

Thanks for the pictures. Michele and I enjoyed the car show. a lot of walking and heat.
Michele has to leave for Chicago this afternoon, so that we left the site about 2:00pm.
We missed Kenn and Steve. A lot people stop by and left good comments on th ebus and the ghia.

Yes.....I did see one truck in Hastings that parked in a lot that had a hot rod on dolly's and he was unloading it before he went down the road towards the park where the show was so he would have to just drive it a short distance.
