funfest 2010

Well where to start, this was my first time going to funfest and had heard so much about it, I really had some high hopes. We arrived around 2:30pm Friday, dustins was in shock of how good of time we had made, "in the past it took longer" he said. John was telling me how around sundown The parking lot would be full of cars bug, buses, and others, but Come to find out there were only around 6 that's including dustins, john, and aunt robin. This was making dustins and them nervous, hoping more would show, we then went out to dinner came back to the hotel and went to bed. SATURDAY.... we got up around 7:30 am and headed over to mam, as we pulled up I was freaking out there were bugs and buses and things and just everything. Dustins on the other hand said there wasent a lot of people, I couldn't tell being my first Time but as the day went more cars showed. I would have to say around 300 cars total..but that's a guess, the swap was ok, the lemonade was AWSOME, and of course the cars were great. We ended up leaving to head to RYANs for dinner, then dustins, john, and the wife and I attended the tribute led Zepplin concert, which rocked.. Sunday came with only half the cars showing, then a bunch of Corvette's showed up so we packed it in and started heading home. All in all I had a great time and cant what till next year, hopefully ill have my own bug by then, ill post some pictures as soon as I get off work.
