It was fun. Hot, wet, but fun. As far as I know all made it there and back just fine.

Blu made the drive without a hiccup, thanks to Mike, Bren, Kevin, and John for keeping things at a happy speed for me! Pics to come in a few minutes, although, I got only one at the show, I have a couple from the road... At BK in B.C. On the road. Hey doc, how are my vitals? Oooops, here's the one show car that I got a picture of... Matt's lightweight sedan I had a great time, it was great fun cruising in with everyone today!

Had a blast. The one thing I forgot to take was my camera No problems to or from show. But I need to still work on the tuning as something is off. Feels like a miss. Ill play this week on it. The heater/oil cooler works!! On the way home the temp was getting to 240 and probably would have gone to 280 (its done this in the past with the old engine) I flipped the switch and it was rock solid at 210 for the rest of the trip. Switched the other way heat started to pour into the cabin!

Regretably, I missed the show--thanks for posting those pics, Bren. That light green Volksrod was featured in either Hot Rod or Hot VWs a couple of years ago. If I remember right, it had a bench seat made from square stock and seat belt webbing. Very clean design.
Hope to see some other pics from the show....how was the Bus turnout?

Switched the other way heat started to pour into the cabin! My stock heater boxes don't fully shut, I had the same heat pouring into the cabin but for different reasons. Yes, the blue/green volksrod was in the magazine. I saw it before at the Lansing zoo show. Glad to see it is still around. Beautiful car. Very well done. Not sure but I believe the one parked next to it was done by the same shop. www.myspace.com/mjbvw

The blue/green VW was done by a couple of guys from somewhere in Michigan. It was also done for very, very little money...mostly with stuff lying around. I love the dash with the VW pickup truck tailgate letters...
It has passed through a couple of owners in the last few years I think.
Very cool.

Just wanted to thank all the GoodVolks that attended the MVVC Festival, Perfect Weather, Awesome Volkswagens, Great Finds in the Swap Meet. The White VolksRod belongs to a very good friend of mine that lives in Saginaw, Mi. Garry E. He was the creator with the help of a local body & paint guy, NOT the same shop as the blue V-Rod, they were both a big hit at the Fest. 200+ Vehicles, 55+ Swap Vendors ! Great Turnout !...Looking forward to some of the next VW Events. Photo's of 2010 Fest. on MVVC.net website Attachments:
