Like the title says sometimes it is better to have vehicles from the same era and usually at least one dependable modern vehicle. This is my 'new to me' truck.

My Dad bought a new F250 CS with a 460ci 8mpg boat ancor,Pulled it out after 5000mi and installed a 71 429ci and got 18mpg,we even tried early timing gears on the 460 but best was 10-12 mpg with more power though

It has a 460 it gets about 10-12 mpg, but I bought it knowing it would get bad gas mileage. I have known about this truck for many years and finally had the opportunity to buy it. I bought it from the original owner. The truck is originally a Michigan (Holland) truck and has always been a Michigan truck, although it spent many winters in sunny, warm, salt free places of the country. As for a money tree I have none and the truck is in very nice condition.

Nice truck. Nothing drives like an old old ford truck. Fell in love with an old 60's f100 with a three on the tree once. What a nice truck. My "new" 94 suburban 2500 w/ 454 motor get like 13mpg. But it can pull a house and doesnt get used all that much anyway I love it.
