I have a pair of IDF's for it. (44's I think) I gotta rebuild them then good to go. The rebuilding should be a learning process.

I wouldn't of painted the case (holds Heat in) 44 Webers 'Perfect' See what Vents are in them ,Probably 36's u may want to drop them down to 34's ,they will be better for low-mid power,Just my 2 cents ;D

Um, where are the vents? I will definitely keep that in mind. Low and mid range is where this engine will live and hopefully not die.

I used the weekend to get more work done on the boat. The floor is ready to be cut and installed. I was test fitting the dual carbs and found out the linkage bar is short. Good thing to know now. I sorta cleaned up the fan housing. The chrome is not perfect but decent. I'm debating whether or not to just paint it and not worry. I did resin in the oil cooler mounts on the duck tail.

Mad Mike is the MAN, (but everyone knew that already) The carbs are beautiful. I am still working on the floor of the boat but I stopped long enough to get tags on the car again and drove it around today. The engine is still waiting for me. I am hoping to sell off a couple of other toys and have enough capital to complete this correctly.

LOL, I got the Baja out this weekend. I am very close to boat "done" (for the moment). I think I will get the Baja painted then start working on the new engine. I still gotta figure out how to measure for correct push rods.
