I saw a late 60s/early 70s standard that was a baja a couple of times sitting in the same place so I don't know if it ran or not. It wasn't a 'bug eye' conversion. Looked pretty clean on the outside (white paint). Was unable to get pics either time, unfortunately. The only bug I saw at all. Saw a few type 4 and bay window transporters bodies left for dead.
