Its official, I traded a guy for a 73 standard bug. Its got a 1600 DP. And an Autostick. The body is in pretty good shape. I should get it tomorrow. Then I will start tearing into it. I plan on putting in a regular 4 speed. I want to have this running and driving by Aug.

It turns out that it had AC on it. It must have been a real dog, autostick and AC running. The floors are ok. I am hoping to have this a running Baja by AUG.

Wow. A bug with AC. Don't see that too often. Might be cool to try to keep that.

I could be talked into trading it for some baja parts. Its not all there, (missing compressor on engine) but it looks in decent shape.
