Bug Run on the Samba.

Stuff like this just makes me mad.
Guy makes only one post on the Samba in years and has to slam what we are trying to do at the Bug Run.

I don't think anyone could be offended by your response. I looked at the guy's history, and he has had exactly one post in his year and a half of being a member of the Samba. I might take him more seriously if he was able to punctuate.

It looked to me like the turnout was quite good considering it rained all day Saturday, and was pouring rain here in Perry at 6:00 in the morning on Sunday. It was an ugly trip to Metro for us.

In his defense, he drove a couple of hours, but the photos I saw (thanks everybody!) looked like a decent turnout for the weather, and it looked like a lot of nice cars were there as well. He did not win anything, so maybe it's just sour grapes?

He should have come last spring. That was a blast, and frankly, I could really not care less about drag racing...

I thought it was still great!

Sorry guys, the devil made me do it(respond on Samba). Just had to vent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he would like to meet toe to toe, I'd love to discuss this issue.

Don't sweat it Kenn. My uncle Sam gives us both freedom of speech, and you can excercise that right whenever you see fit. I too responded, and encourage others to do the same. I understand, he drove from Indiana, he didn't have to. I understand, he wants some recognition for his hard work, don't we all, when it doesn't happen, it's life, get over it, or jump off a bridge.

The weather was a bummer, but that was a really fun group of people to talk to, and the most helpful club i've hung out with (however briefly). I'd say you don't really need those kind of guys around.

I feel more of the club as friends and family, then just a group of VW nuts. I wouldn't let anyone say that crap to my family and get away with it. As I remember I use to drive 2 1/2 hours to Milan and got rained out, I didn't give anyone crap, just took it in stride. Even farther to other VW events, take what is given. Weather is part of the game, we have NO control of. I had fun, saw some beautiful cars, great fellowship, had a breakfast hotdog and hugs can't forget the hugs. I have all your backs!

Sorry but what a freakin weirdo....1 post !!! been to many picture perfect car shows It was rather chilly in Daytona for Winterjam this year....it was almost as warm in Detroit !!
