OK everyone here are the details,

GoodVolks 2nd Annual Tune Up Session
@ Big Al's House @12pm
Saturday April 24th, 2010

Bring your tools and list of things to do and we will do our best to help eachother get everything accomplished minus anything major.

Also we would like everyone to bring a type of meat to grill or a dish to pass.

Sounds good to me. I think I am going to be needing some brake work done if anyone is up for helping with that. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place to buy them ? Sorry I missed the lansing show, but had to work till 6 am that morning.

Dustin, You can hold it at my place if you like. Plenty of pavement, open areas, and a 30 x 40 pole barn with heat, air pressure and all the tools you will probably need for anything. What is the expected date? Brian

Thanks, Dustin! Would love to host it at my house again this year IF we can figure out a date/time soon. My girls and even neighbors thought it was pretty cool.
Remember, I'll be in Haiti 4/29-5/7. Those dates aren't negotiable as you might imagine.
With a small donation from everyone, or better yet, just bring stuff (read: food!!!!!!!) I can fire up the grill and cook hotdogs, brats, etc. Didn't have a grill last year
I also want to get a date to help the paralyzed teacher from Hudsonville with his car. Maybe we could do that on the same day?! Hmmmmmm... We might need to strategize this.

I missed this session last year. Thanks for your offer again. It is a good idea to work on the bug also. I bet your house is relatively close to George's if we need to purchase new parts.

OK so when do we want to do this? We need to decide soon! Maybe we can do it the same day as the test n tune then head over there? Or maybe that's too big of a trip?

IMHO that would be too big of a day by the time everybody shows up, if we do lunch, etc.
I think we are wide open, though, for pretty much every weekend in the month at this point. Whatever works for everybody else and if there is no rain scheduled.

I'd like to join you all too, Man have I got questions. There are just some things that I can't figure out on my own, or find information on. I'm a newbie at DIY, but I'm planning on having a lot of fun getting the bugs out of my beetle.
