I have heard of a 1962ish ragtop in original paint and interior. Near mint shape in and out, and it may even run. I think it is a lighter blue, but I have not seen it? how much could something like this be worth in stock form?

Hard to tell with out photos and or seeing it. Get a name and a number and we could get some people together and go look at it.

I am waiting on some info. the guy that had it passed away, and my brother has seen it, but I haven't. I really would love to have it, I mean the ragtop works flawless...

Chris, it's a fine line between what they want and your willing to pay. I agree with Bren, get more info and we'll help you along. Go on Samba or any other site to get an idea of the market and factor in what your willing to pay with what shape it's in, along with what they want out of it and go from there. Also make sure the guys name isn't Neil?

Neil, as in the guy I bought my last car from. No this is an older guy that passed away that had some older original rides stowed away. I know the people in charge of the estate so I am hoping with my fingers crossed.
