Ok Just got off the phone with Marty and got all sorts of info I didnt have before. First off this is not a Bavarian Inn event (I assumed it was) We will actually be right in Heritage park right along the river! (great location). So we are right in the middle of all the action (amusment rides, food, beer). Judy Zehnders Bug may not be in attendance! (we shall see, Im still in pester mode on this as I thought that was the original reason for the show). This is actually officially a Chamber of commerce event, not a Judy Zehnder event . I will have 30% coupons for Zehnders Resturant/ lodging and gift shops for all. Also we get into the "big tent" for free. Finalized hours and days. Friday June 11th : 6pm - whenever we get tired and want to leave. Saturday June 12th : 12 noon - whenever we want to leave. Sunday June 13th : Parade for two cars 12 pm - 1:30 Sunday June 13th : car show 2pm to whenever we want to leave There will be media there. We can set up a tent and I think it would be good to have a goodvolks Banner set up. Instructions to get to Heritage park are as follows. Take Frankenmuth Main st to Weiss st (road at Bronners Christmas store). Follow Weiss st North till it dead ends at Heritage Park. Drive into the park to the back of the park at the river and there will be an area roped off for us there. Any more questions please ask. Dan www.frankenmuthfestivals.com

Hey Dan, Talked with you a bit about this at the Feb. GTG and would like to attend, I'm sure the response will be well received through out the Michigan Volkswagen Club's. Friday would be a good cruise-in date, Saturday for the B-day / Show sounds Great but Sunday might be tough given the time frame and travel time homeward. Count me in ! I think finding a hotel might be tough, I've been to Bavarian Fest and there's alot of people that attend. Host Hotel?

Hey Dan, Any update on this Event happening? I'm sure if it's a GO others will attend, the weekend of June 11-13 doesn't conflict with any other events. It's the weekend before Fathers Day. I have some VW friends from the Saginaw area that are interested in attending, they made a suggestion to contact the Saginaw paper or maybe local radio station. Maybe even put it on the Bavarian Festival website. Hope to hear more on this Event !

I would go. Marie's family is up there so I would probably make a weekend of it. Friday at 4 for a show sounds difficult though. I don't get out of work until 4:30. Might have to pass on Friday and do Sat. and maybe Sun.

Yea I dont expect that many (or any other than me) doing the fri thing. Sat is the big show and sunday is really just for the parade (which is a fun show if youve never been). I figure only a couple of bugs in the parade. So who is up for Saturday?
