Hey all, great day .weather, companionship, nicely done event, good clean fun,good food (thanks for the sandwiches and salsa Robin). Thanks Rudy, I for one had a Hoot and agree the dash plaques and trophys were a cool touch. Sorry about the car Bren, hope it's something simple and not that expensive, I'll help in anyway I can(you know that right?) We have some top notched people in this club and I for one am glad and proud to be part of it. Again Thanks for the planning and thought one top notched event. Thanks to everyone for the kind words. The participants are what made this a great day. Hope Bren's problems are not too serious. As a lot of us discussed, we'll plan on making this an annual event.

I will be ready for next year! Maybe I won't push it so hard next time. Sure was fun though. As many have said, that motor was not right from the start. Maybe now it will get figured out and fixed correctly.

sorry guys, I was getting my car ready to trailer it on saturday before I went to watch the nitro funny cars and noticed my wastegate moved when I pushed on it(I was adding a dial-a-boost so I could crank it if I wanted to)...much to my dismay I noticed the header was cracked almost all the way around the wastegate flange...not good. Exhaust leaks are a no -no with turbos and especially issues with the waste gate. Needles to say I didn't have time to fix it. The crack was in a really hard to reach area. Dang it. Kind of bummed me out the entire weekend. Glad things went well, would have liked to formally meet all of you guys...not sure why Clinton didn't show...again, sorry. bren what exactly happened to your car?

Great day and a great event! Thanks to Rudy for organizing this event that went very well. I am really glad we did this and had a great turnout for the first time. I was a little disappointed to not see Ron or Clinton show up. I was looking forward to seeing a couple more fast cars out there and ask some questions about the sport. Sorry I didn't make it guys, I am looking forward to meeting more people in this hobby. I had the boss telling me it was time for some family time  . Can't wait for next year I hope we can arrange more of these test and tunes. My friend Jeremy (white and black bug running low 12sec passes) did make it and he had a great time.  |

Well we have 2 Bug Runs a year and now we have added our own GoodVolks Drag Day so hopefully you can make it out.

Hey Jeremy. Glad you made it on here.
It was good to meet you. And, it was a blast watching you go down the track. I only wish we could have seen you lined up with that Lamborghini! That would have been a classic You Tube video: Bug Beats Lambo! How did you do after we left? I believe 12.23 was the best I saw you do.

Hi all,
Just wanted to say I had a blast at this event and it was great meeting everyone. The racing was also great fun, and I hope to see some of you guys out at an autocross soon. I know the Furring group is expecting one last event this season. Rudy's really the guy to talk to about that. I just show up, pay my entry fee, and drive...
I just installed my rear sway-bar yesterday and my initial reaction is "loving it!" I'll know more once I get it around the track a couple times.
I'll try to keep in touch via the forums!
