I think the nerfs tucked in closer to the front would look good, not stickin out so far would make them blend in better.

your not reusing the originall strg wheel are you??? NO!!! I've got something special in mind for that Just been doing a little of everything still, but I made custom templates for the door and 1/4 panels and am going to focus or the air ride more this weekend. Here's another pic of the front end "layed out" Rear still needs to go down after trimming the bumpstops another 1.5" or so.

d**n, I am NOT an interior guy...PITA but it's coming along. I should get my back seat back from being recovered 1st. of next week. You might ask why I'm getting into interior stuff so early into assembly ?? As you can see, this is where the air ride compressor is gonna live, and I'm going to also mount the new fuse panel here also. I need the back seat to verify clearances and what not for wires, airlines, etc. and some pics of removable apron. Chrome allen head bolts hold in on, rubber washers between sheet metal. I purposely went for the exposed fasteners.

I usually skip chrome fasteners and use hand-polished stainless myself. I have never found any chrome fasteners that are copper-plated and then chromed and polished, which really won't allow the chrome to chip off.
That said, your a man of my own heart. Love the exposed fasteners, especially on the white! One thing you might want to look at is to use nylon washers instead of neoprene. Usually you can get them in more accurate sizes, and it's much harder to damage the paint with them. It's easy to over-tighten these things and dimple the paint. I also usually use a little black RTV to secure the neoprene or nylon washer to the stainless or chrome washers.

Gotta love rainy days....so you can get nuts done on our cars and not the yard !! I ran airlines inside non-used heater channels. I'll make sure there are no sharp edges. I wanted to "tack in" the carpet kit so see how everything would cover / fit. Creates a little hump, but it'll work, and I'll pad the lines from foot abuse. I also modified and covered the speaker enclosures. Great day of progress

Wow, too bad you could not modify the seat instead of moving the roll bar. I like the idea of modifying the running light. Car's front end looks so clean now I think adding lights of any kind would not look right. Would look cool if the nerf bars could be reshaped to match the line of the car. Right now it seems to stand out too much because it does not flow with the car. I really like the look of the removable apron by the way.

Thanks Bren. The roll bar will easy to move. Just weld a new plate on the bottom w/ it shifted forward 1". The nerf bars actually are shaped quite well to the front of the car, they just need to be tucked in about 3".

I agree with Bren on the turn signals but behind the apron would not be bad either, Man this car is amazing I cannot wait to see it!!!!
