:)I want to thank Dustin and family in hosting today's wonderful get together. It was the perfect spot. I grew up on a lake so it brought back memories. It made me forget about work and really slow down and enjoy the day. The ride back to Plainwell was beautiful. Alot of people looking at the VW on the way home. Thanks also to Bren for taking the great pictures. I can show my wife what a great get together we had today. The pics of our bug look great as do all the other VW's there today. Thanks everyone for coming out and I enjoyed seeing and talking to all of you. John in Plainwell

Thanks to everyone. Michele and I had a good time. We also thank Dustin, Mike, Robin, Kathy and Bren for your help straitening up my Ghia. The back road from the lake to M89 was a beautiful road. we enjoyed driving even though I was quite nervous about my engine situation. We made it home safely. I was glad I had this problem at our meeting rather than an unfamiliar place. Michele and Aki Tsuji

Glad to hear you made it home safely. I kept my eye on you in the rear view mirror. The route Dustin gave us was a nice one. I really like the drive from here out that direction. M-89 is one of my favorites so far.

Glad you liked the route. I feel its a little faster and 118th is very scenic.

Hey ya all I understand I missed a good time with the goodvolks, Sorry but sometimes blood is thicker then oil. I too had a good time but in a different sense, watching a game when someone you love is playing is great fun. We went from Holland (two games) to Galesburg (one game) to Plainwell for a game. Travese City was postponed due to high water, good thing it would have made for an interesting day of travel. And they wonder why I don't get anything done on the weekend. Maybe thats why I saw so many VW's and gas stations. Sorry again see ya all later Kenn
