Well it was a long wet drive down to the show and it was an even longer dry but cold drive back  It was a fun show. No mechanical issues on the way down but the oil usage was getting redonkulus by the ride back. Needless to say I am in the middle of taking the engine back out so I can seal up those last 8 bolts and clean up the goopy mess I now have No biggie. I also learned alot from Mad mike and others and now have a mid trans mount and a 1700 pound pressure plate on the way. Oh what fun.... |

Michele and I enjoyed the day a lot despite the rainy weather in the morning. We appreciate your vote for my bus and ghia. Can you believe I had sun burn on my forehead and the back of my neck?
We'll leave for Japan in middle of May for three weeks. We'll see you at the June GTG.

Fall Bug Run is only 1 month away! We should probably start thinking about coordinating the night before gathering. George has offered to donate the hot dogs and buns this year. We will still put out a donation jar for the dogs, profits go to Lukemia/Lymphoma society. Other food will be pot luck / bring a dish to pass. I have to work Saturday, inventory. I can't predict when I will be done and able to get to the track. So, can someone take over coordinating this? Let's have some more discussion here about this. - How do we grow this night before event?
- How do we get the word out to racers and other clubs?
- Last year we did the poker run, this year I suggest we stay put and mingle with people we don't know. thoughts?
