I have a street bug that I would like to race. What would be the best class to race in? Also does anyone know where to get wide 5 racing rims and slick tires or Slick tires that fit on stock rims?

Brian, You don't need slicks to drag race, street tires will work just fine. Unless your MadMike, Clinton or have the horse power and trans axle to hook them up. If I can run "Ruffuss" a Thing you can run a Bug. Kenn

Hey Brian,Believe me you won't need slicks/DOT cheaters @ 131dragway,they tend to over prep the start It's like walking on flypaper you won't spin with a 1500 unless your running 35lbs in the tires ;D 10-18lbs you'll be fine If you don't have a 6 rib bus trans or a built type 1 with HD axles? run higher pressure and spin a little it will save the drive train 8-)I'm just tring to make your day go better at the BugRun ;D I drove 250mi/over 5hrs, only to break a CV on the 2nd pass ,Madmike

No problem. Stephanie said it is not too late and if we have more locations to add to the list to let her know. So, if we come up with any other business's to send them to let me know.
