With Goldie's new look on the outside, starting to do some interior remodeling also. I dont have complete interior design swatches and samples like AJ, but...this is a start. BEFORE AFTER More to come

Very cool...but where is the shag carpeting?
Huh?
You can't have a van with cool chrome wheels without shag carpeting! I think it's a law. :-)

A wood floor needs a good shag rug. Cool VW already and new interior will make it more so!

I like your choice of Wood flooring . Where have I seen that before ? You'll find that things tend to slide around more . LOL

Hey, the A-Team would not have lasted more than a few episodes without the van.
And the van had...Shag Carpeting!
'Nuff said. :-)
Seriously, however. The floor looks great. Looks like the body was in really good shape as well.

I too wanted a hard wood floor. it looks good, easy to clean, and it gives a sense of home. What I was worried about was Doggy Jack. I can just see it now. My doggy copilot sliding across the floor when i hit the brakes or from the massive acceleration that the bus has. At least with carpet Jack can dig his toe nails in.
Looks good
I just noticed something you don't have any welded to the floor seat mounts. Is there a yellow or orange painted line on the floor next to the slider door?

I read an old bay window bus manual and it said that some of the non passenger Bus's had a painted line next to the slider door. The painted line was the load limit line so the slider door could still close. Both of my Bus's did not have it and I wondered if yours did.

Sweet red and orange shag! Almost the same color as my grand parent's first carpet (red/orange shag) for their cottage.

Love the floor. Like the rims but it need to be lowered now or larger tires. Gunna be sweet. Let me know when it is time to build the monster motor.
