Regina schmucks the front of the new beetle

When I first saw it the first thing that came to mind was boy that would make a cool baja if it had big tires,

Regina was driving on the hwy when a truck lost a tire and this is the end result. The car has like 176,000 miles and still has lots of life left in it. Luckily I still had full insurance as it is 2500.oo of damage. Its all good as Regina and her mom who was a passenger was all ok.

This reminds me of when I wrecked my 99 New Beetle. I purchased it late October 1999 and wrecked in mid December 1999. I remember it had about 1,500 miles on it. After the wreck my New Beetle was not fun any more it just seemed to loose its new car feel. I had about $4,500 in damages and was 6 weeks without a car.

Has to last wife 2 more years then gets passed on to my oldest daughter. I think that will be the end of the little sucker. If not then we'll look into it, or pass it on to the next daughter till its deader than a door nail.

cuz thats how I roll. wear em out. then rebuild and repeat.

Guy I know has over 300k on his. Diesel mill probably has a lot to do with it.

Yea. I think Ill get er to 200,000 but... well ya never know. I was thinking of changing the timing belt at 200, and maybe a head redue is in order as the lifters are a tad noisey. Runs strong though, and the lifters give it that air cooled sound
