Our keys got locked in our old van and we never had two sets of keys. But I wont go into detail....right Julie? Anyway when Mcdonalds towing came and unlocked it with some nice tools he mentioned his wife has a 74 Super Beetle and is rebuilding the carb at this time. I gave him a card I had left and told him about the club. So someday he hopes to meet everyone else and they will look at the website. I went right down to Home Depot after the keys getting locked in and made a dup. of the door key. John W. in Plainwell

I hate when that happens John, I did it a few times on my old S-10 since I was not used to being able to lock a car without the keys like VW's are. Now I keep a spare in my wallet.

Yup, did that not too long ago at work. Had to have Marie come rescue me. Got a spare and put it in my wallet too.
