Hope everyone made it home safe! Great day!
Whoever got my chair, THANK YOU!!! I realized I neglected to put it in the car on 40th Street almost to M-89. Called Aki and Bren but they had both left already. Whoever has it, just hang on to it - we'll see each other eventually. If convenient, get it to Steven as he and I are meeting tmw for Ghia pics - or bring it next time you visit George's Hot VWs. NBD! Thanx.

Great time today. Good job by Dad for putting this together. I will post pics when I can. Took revho Kevin and Georgetta"s pic, MadMike and the Laser. Taking Drwingtipshoe's Art pic tomorrow. All for the calender.

I counted 45 VWs, including a Porsche and a BMW. Michele and I had a great time. The food was good so as the company. We enjoyed meeting people.

Thanks all! Weather was near perfect, great company, beautiful automobiles of every kind and what can you ever say about a potluck/cookout, outstanding!. Out of 96 hotdogs only 10 came home. I have fun cooking outside it's been MY job for years. Made some new friends and the old one keep getting closer. Again Thanks to all!

Oh yeah! The Kalamazoo Gazette took pictures and did some interviews, look for it in the near future and let us know when you see it in print. Lynn Anderson was also there taking pictures and writing in her notebook, HOT VW ? Folks walked through and around the Mustangs to look at the VW's. The Museum always has something new. The double decker didn't run as promised but we had a great time anyway. Awesome time! I had a blast. Thanks this club and it's members are GREAT!

Well, I'm super bummed, I really, really, REALLY, wanted to make it to this one. Cori and I made it to Otsego before the passenger side axle bolts came loose at the wheel end, and Blu wouldn't go. Good new is that it is easily repaired, bad news is that we missed the show.  It could have been worse I guess. My father in-law picked us up with the trailer, and Blu is resting in the garage. Thanks to Bren and George for coming over to pick up the shirts and banner! I can't wait for the pics! Is it all fixed now? |

I'm not sure what happened, all 18 of the other bolts were tight. It isn't going to happen again!  It looks like we missed a good one! |

OK it's that Ruffuss guy asking for input again. Do we make this an annual event? Ask to be on the official Gilmores events calendar? Do a Show or a Gathering? German or just VW? Lets talk this out and get going on it now for next year so we aren't limited on dates. What you say? Kenn

That was a wonderful Sat. We had lots of fun. We were not even out of the entrance and Emily fell asleep. She had a great time. The turnout was great and it was nice to see and meet everyone and some new families. Here are a few pics we took.
