Ok!! think of everything you would like to see and have, we'll discuss it at the Christmas Party. I've also contacted Maple Hill Auto Group( VW,Volvo), Orrin B. Hayes(Mercedes) and Betton Imports(VW,Volvo and Mercedes) to gauge interest and haven't heard anything back. Any other contacts? Ideas? I know of one amphi-car(1/2 German 1/2 Brit) I'll get in contact with him and see if he is or knows anyone interested. Kenn

My vote is no on the Mini. It's not a German car, and has no heritage as a German car.

Our Smart is French. We talked at the Christmas party about exploring other venues. The Grand Rapids Oktoberfest is in Sept. I have e-mailed the organizers to see if they would be interested in a German Car Show. Here's a link: www.oktoberfestwestmichigan.com/

September could work out good. Especially if we have our show in July.

OK!! Just got off the phone with Brenda the events person for Gilmore's Car Museum. The date Saturday July 17th 2010, from 10am till about 3pm(they have a wedding at 4pm.) not that it would matter/ or bother them.. They'll have room for between 50 and 100 cars as we will be sharing the grounds with another small car club(10 to 20 cars). We can picnic if we want, they have tables there. Contact any and all German vehicle clubs you know of, cycles and other equipment also welcome. Contact me with ideas or concerns. This is to be low key gathering instead of a "Car Show" to be fun for all. Maybe set up a cruise after or before? I've heard "Simple" mentioned lets keep it that way. Again ideas? Concerns? Problems(just remember my give a $hit is busted)? Thanks for any and all HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kenn

An e-mail from Brenda at Gilmores asks if we would be interested in riding the London double decker Bus? It can be either a per-ride or lump sum donation, what are the thoughts on it? Sounds like fun to me, other kids should enjoy it also. It would be a slow go ride around the pavement from one building to another. Could be a photo op also. Let me know what you think. Kenn

OK!... Now the Spring Bug Run is in the record book. It may seem early but we need to get the Two July events on the schedule rolling. Advertizing? Extra flyers? Volunteers? Contacts? Glen, Rudy do you need help with the South Haven Event? I could use help with contacts, for The German Gathering. As well as other ideas to help this along. Anyone, Everyone?
