Hey guys,

I'm one of the people who is working on the movie. I saw the post and wanted to let you know that the premier is actually still a month away on Oct. 25. We're going to shut down the street that the theatre's are on in our town and pack it with old air cooled VW's. Live music from the artists who contributed to the soundtrack as well. Should be a fun gig.

Can't think of that now though. Still editing at present. =)

Hey Man,

We are working on a distribution deal right now. Our goal is 1,200 theatre's across the US. We're not sure if we will be able to come anywhere near that since this is our first time making a movie but we figured we would rather shoot big from the get go. The movie will make it to DVD at some point next year. Depending on how many theatres actually pick it up, you may be able to find it in your local Walmart or wherever. At the very least, it will be online.

This is all kinda fluid right now as we have never done anything like this before. We are pretty much just down to earth, old air-cooled VW lovin folks who decided to make a movie. It's been the most difficult thing we have ever tried to do but we are having so much fun that we are already planning the next movie. =)

Though I'm only in my late 40's, I have dreamed of doing a trip like this since the 80's.

I can't wait to see it!

It may be the inspiration I need for my sons senior trip!

It details the entire route that we took and we really did drive it in the VW bus. It was an amazing trip and I hope to do it again soon when I don't have more than two weeks and a movie to shoot simultaneously! If you do go, post your story!

Also, Tioga pass through Yosemite and down highway 395 is one of the most amazing drives I have ever been on in my life. Go in late spring time. Highway one is also an amazing drive. =)

Changing the subject a bit, I decided to take a short break from editing the movie today and threw this together. Its a little sneak peak at the characters in the movie (this section of road is along 395). Hope you guys like it!

Hey Kirby,

I didn't know that you guys were on FB but I will find you guys tonight and make a post for sure.

Also, I figured I would share this with you all even though I absolutely hate the spotlight. We got invited to go on TV to promote the movie and I didn't make a complete idiot of myself at least. Mark did mess up Hectors name though which I thought was pretty funny. =)
