Met an Old Boy today said he has a lot of old VW stuff from 1955 era . Paper type stuff , articles , flyer's , magazines and something about a trap door ? I go Monday @ noon .

The letter dated March 22 , 1957 , The day after my Mom gave Birth to me the letter is talking about Pop Out Windows . The Guy said that the windows were not yet for sale and not yet even in the Catalogs .

That's a cool one too, The one I was reffering to was about prices of VW's
VW Sedan $1616.70 VW Sunroof Sedan $1690.30 VW Convertible $2126.90 VW Station Wagon $2239.90
Can you imagine buying those brand new for that $$$ You can't even get a basket case for that kind of money.
