I picked up a side job to pay some bills . It's a 1976 Harley Sportster , The owner gave me a new wiring harness to start with . It is OEM with all the ends on already and take off one old & put on one new . Did the rear then the switch . Next is the Head Light , this what I found . I thought of AJ for some reason .

Wire nuts, blue Scothlocks, big fun.
On the other hand, you can get aircraft quality Scochlocks, with a special tool, and they are strain-relieved and pretty cool. I did some Type-C arrowboard wiring harnesses with them. Never a failure, but quite expensive.
Still, it's just a Harley. :-)

That kart has Danger written all over it. Open driveline, no cage, gas tank on the seat back, no leg restraints............ I like it! The second set of pedals is a nice touch too. Wouldn't want the kids to miss out on all the fun danger.
I worked for a go-kart manufacturer for 9 years. (Thats' why I go by the name gokart). By the late 90's, the industry added a lot of safety items. But I have to admit those old karts are lighter and quicker.
It was a fun job but the Chineese came in and ruined the market. We got into utility vehicles after that. They're still doing well but I got a better offer here in Michigan.

I have a 1/6 th mile dirt track in the back yard for the past 18 years or so now , just about every motorized thing has cut a lap or two. But look @ the board under the motor and the pulley on the output , its not mine (yet) a strong power slide out of #4 turn now that's fun . And this summer we made the twice as wide & flatter than ever before .
