Kenn and Steven I will be waiting for you and Ruffuss behind SubWay at 7ish tomorrow morning. Sorry about the back seat room I am just use to the back seat room in the Ghia's and Beetle's. I just can't fit. If you want, you can check out the Ghia after the show its a bit dirty now but cool.
sandfan43 will you be joining us at Burger King for the trip down?
Well I am off to mess with the crazy headlights again on the Ghia be back soon. If I can get them to fit right I may be doing some night driving wish me luck.

Excellent show. Very well run. You get a photo of your car as part of the admission price. They do awards for the top 25 cars and special awards for best paint, engine, sound system, interior, and best of show if I remember right. They had a DJ and he mentioned the Bug Run for us many, many times. They promoted all the clubs future events. Impressive mix of cars; waterpumpers, volksrods, hoodrides, drivers, ghias, things, type 3's, buses, you name it and it was probably there. None of us remembered cameras so you will all just have to join us next year and see it for yourselves!

I second that a GREAT!!!! show. Contrats to Bren and the 67' for their top 25 win, in some stiff competition. Neat trophies, many door prizes, good swap, wide mix of V-dubs, more Things then I've ever seen in one place(14) at one time. bus and campers a many, notches, squares, fastys, buggys both tubs and rails, stock, ovals, resto's, hot rods, verts, hoodrides, rat rods, one offs. Anyway one great show. I'm already planning to go next year. It would have been nice to see more our members in line first East and South, then North and West. Any way Thanks to those who I spent the day with I had one GREAT time. Thanks Again Kenn

Yes, it was fun hanging out all day with everyone. I appreciate Kenn, Stephen, AJ and John coming over and seeing my project. It is fun to share with others that appreciate the cars. Very cool going and seeing AJ's ghia too. AJ: you are doing an amazing job on that car. Very unique and well thought out. Glad we had the opportunity to visit and see the car in person.

Sorry I am late replying to this but I have been it the garage messing with stuff. Thank you for the positive feed back on the Ghia. My Ghia was not quite up to par for the Fort Wayne show. It could have made the trip but with no side windows it would have been just as windy as Ruftuss.
Yes it was an excellent show I am planing on going next year this time with the Ghia. I did not see any Ghia's there quite like mine I just guess that mine will stand out of the crowd.

Actually there was more because it looks like the club members cars did not have there picture taken. I was eying the pre 67 Double Cab Bus Rat Rod and the 70 Westy both cars pictures were not shown.
I like #56 because it reminds me of my first car same color but mine was a diesel and a 4 door.

Your right AJ The club members don't put their cars in the show for judging which is really cool so there is no favoritism.
