 I think I will go out and put my mud tires on to get thru the little lake I have in my driveway behind the bug.  Hopefully by this afternoon the rain will be on its way out of town. John in Plainwell

 Wish they would call it a rain out today then hold it tomorrow. But of course they already set the schedule with all the police and road closings and such. I think it will be close by 5pm. Theres one more thunderstorm to come thru which is near South haven up to GR. John in Plainwell

I will probably still go over there tonight, in the blue car. Hopefully the storm will blow through and things will start to dry up.

;D We also had a good time. It was great to see others again and it was good weather. Thanks for taking those pictures. They look great. On the way home we had all the windows down and it still felt we had the warm air on in the car.  It was a nice ride. Didnt see any deer which was good. But everything we passed (Reflectors on mailboxes...fence posts..) looked like little eyes ready to dash across the road. The lights on our bug are not bright to begin with. John in Plainwell |

Glad to you all had a good time, At Silver Lake. It rained hard all friday evening well into the night and beyond. Saturday AM wet, but turned into a decent day, until we walked up to watch the sand cars play. Mostly 4x4, quads, very few buggys and only 2 baja's. Watched and played in the sand for about 2 hrs until the sky opened up, drenched to the bone(one big wet t-shirt contest) interesting to say the least if you know what I mean. I left a stack of Bug Run flyer at Apple Tree. Then a couple of cards at the Wippy Dip on a red Single cab, a orange and white Thing and my old white Thing, Greg and Mat said they were tearing up the sand with the Things. Makes it easier when the sand is wet. Later Kenn
