I don't know if Dad will get on, so first Bren, I have your tires from Patrick. When you want them let me know. As for the crash, dad got spun out and was sitting the wrong way Jeremy came around and hit almost head on. Both bodies on the go karts busted off, ( they set them back on ) sent dad's glasses flying off, Pepsi went flying out of the cart, and a spring came off one of them. Knocked the wind out of him, and he hurt his back. He is lying in bed at home. When I went to mom and dads last night, mom said that he had gotten up a couple of times but went right back to bed.

Hope Kenn feels better real soon. That was a bad crash but the guys working there should have noticed that sooner and turned the carts down. But nobody is perfect and accidents happen. If his back is not better soon he should go get checked out. We have the accident report so everything should be covered.

Congrats Glen, glad to see a VW take all the marbles. You'll be on the next years T-shirt I think. Doing better just takes a while to get from point A to point B, once there just need to adjust. Karen said she knew I hurt to turn down an AYCE crableg dinner. Back, knee, shoulder and ankle hurt like heck last night after (miss dinner) nap. Glad we're slow at work so they won't miss me, a couple of days. Again Congrats Glen. Later Kenn

Just to let everyone know, I'm feeling better, not good but better. Took the rest of the week off work, don't want to rush it. I hope to make the Indiana Show and dinner cruise. We'll see again don't want to rush it(Ruffuss rides like a lumber wagen). I too had a blast, until!! CRASH!! The longer I sat the worst I felt. So I came home early and once I was down I was DOWN. Sunday everything tightened up and I couldn't hardly get out of bed(try typing on the puter, laying on your side in bed) Right now I'm sitting on the couch with a heating pad watching the hunt channel or National Geographics. Thanks to all who called and/or checked on me. I will return!! to do it again(kart racing not crashing!!). Later Kenn

Oh good God!
I was trying to catch up on what's happening, and saw that "As for the crash, dad got spun out and was sitting the wrong way Jeremy came around and hit almost head on."
Didn't think go kart...went immediately to something far more serious. After frantically searching subsequent posts, without reading the original post, I finally figured out it was indeed a go kart shunt.
What a relief.
Guess I should probably pay a little more attention, eh?

Yes it was a go kart accident but still a bad one! I have never seen a go kart actually get damaged from wrecking it. Glad your feeling a little better Kenn!
