Herrod helper opinions....

Back in the 80's I thought of getting one of these but didnt want to get made fun of in high school (my 64 was pretty slow but soo cool). Now I come accross it again and am thinking if it really helps gas mileage, stability and noise (really they say it makes it quieter !!) It slices and dices and makes julian fries but wait theres more. SO the question is.

A. you think they work?

B. does anyone have pics of how dorky they look on the bug?

C. anyone have a cheap one I can try out

They tested one in Hot VW's on the mileage motor car. I think it gained like 2 mpg but even so I think its ugly.

A small spoiler that mounts to the rear vents. Not to keen on them myself.

Ok I did it....Before wing I got like 24 mpg city 27 hwy. After wing, I averaged ...........................wait for it, Drumroll......................a WHOPPING 27mpg on the way home. Mind you I intend to give this more of a chance. At least I like the way it looks
