I was planning on doing that i'm still keeping an open mind. It's tempting me being a broke highschool student and having a engine sitting there i probably won't use lol It's still a little ways down the road till I get to putting whatever I choose in. Theres still some things that will need to be done.(wiring, brakes, seats, etc) Most likely I intend to end up with a 1600 or a 1641.

Totally up to you what engine you want to run, but keep in mind if you run the Subaru engine you'll need adapters, wiring harness, ECU, etc etc. No matter which way you go engine wise, do keep us posted

That's what was deterring me a bit, luckily it's a carb subi so that would eliminate the ecu issue. I ended up getting a dunebuggy made from a bug pan that I plan on taking the engine out of. The father of the guy I bought it from wasn't sure of the exact size of the engine when It was rebuilt about ten years ago by he and his son, he was pretty positive it was larger than a 1641. I'm now thinking maybe throw my extra engine on the buggy and have some fun with that. Or help me get some money back and sell the engine and chassis as a project for someone.
