chassis redo

i have 3 sons, 19,15,12. all 3 have been working on stuff since they could hold wrenches. luckilly my youngest isnt a teenager yet therefore he doesnt know everything about everything and is still willing to help dad without telling me im doing it wrong.

i fear next year i may have some peice and quiet in the garage

got the back of the floors boxed in today. now to trim some more of the old floor off the top to make it look a little cleaner

got the chassis painted and ready for some more touchup with the grinder, gonna smooth the tunnel out around where they shortend the chassis. got the body over and started disassembly yesterday for the transfer to the new chassis

been busy the last couple days, tore the old one down to swap the body to the new chassis, god it was ruff!!

my buddy that im basically building it for is a bigger dude 200+ and so is his ole lady so i went beefy with the floors. i think im still in oval track mode where low weight is good weight LOL.
i dont think i added that much weight to it its gonna be stuffed into some stuff off road.

were gonna scale it when we get done with our digital longacres so ill have overall weights and corner weight percentages when i get done. there wasnt enough metal left in his to weigh it to start so were going to compare it to my sandshark which is still on a stock pan. ill post that info when i get it

My SandShark weighs 1320 w/my fat a$$ in it @ the 131 Dragway scales so 1140 Lbs and it's a pan car too,madmike

rhino lined,battery box made, peddles mounted, had to fab up some peddle stops to keep them from coming to far back and lines plumbed

got the nerf bars painted and expanded metal put in to double as luggage racks. winch mount is made out of half inch and painted. its installed just gotta cut it down and finish the bumper.
